I made the following discovery today: A pair of Abe's pants in the kitchen garbage can. A dirty (and I mean dirty) diaper in the laundry basket. I have no idea how they got there. Ted said I could blame Abe since I have no memory at all of how this could have happened.
We're packing to leave town for two weeks, so I'm figuring that's his excuse. I'm letting it go this time.

Ah, motherhood.
I always said that when I had Abigail, I went to the hospital and came home with a beautiful baby, but in exchange I had to leave a part of my brain.
I'm sure it's the same with adopted kids- you travel to Ethiopia and get to bring home this beautiful baby, but in exchage, you have to leave a part of your brain. Motherhood, isn't it wonderful?
Love the hat!
Cannot tell you how many times I find things in places they do not belong at all--car keys in the cat food, female products in the freezer, I have tried blaming the dogs but they keep using the no opposable thumb excuse.
Enjoying sharing the adventures of new mommyhood with you.

Perfect story. Your baby is amazing and beautiful and you are doing a great job with motherhood.
Have a relaxing trip, Lori dear.
Have a good trip. We will miss you guys!
I hope it wasn't the pesto diaper in the laundry...
GROSS! I've NEVER done anything like that! HAHAHA I hope you know I'm kidding. Welcome to my brainless world. It'll most likely get worse before it gets better...
LOVE!
