Update from Colorado

This is where I am:

This is what we're eating:

This is what we're drinking:

This is what we're doing:

We packed one full bag today for the trip to meet little Solomon, more tomorrow. On the flight out here, I sat across the aisle from an author I have written about and whose book is currently on my living room mantle. More on that little story later. It was incredible, incredible, maybe one of the high points of my life.

For now, I'm going to try to let the chorus of "hey hey hey!"s accompanying the trumpet-heavy mariachi band across the street lull me to sleep.

Ah, the jealousy is almost too much to bear! Looks like you're having a blast, especially once I scrolled down and realised that you weren't actually drinking the cat.

Looking forward to more on the author story!!

Ya know.... if ya'll wanted to be super duper OCD... you could make a list of everything you are packing... for those of us yet to travel. I'm just saying (asking/begging :-) OR... you could spend your free time alternately gazing at that view and those cute madras pants. LOVE both of them! xox-kat

ps... should we start a pool about who the author is? Since i have absolutely no idea I'm going to take a wild guess... Danielle Steel? Neil Gaiman? Frederick Buechner? :-) OH! I'm dying to know!

So glad you are there with Courtney getting ready for little Sol! Do me a favor, see that book shelf in his room with all of the books in order by size...go ahead and de-organize that so that she won't get used to such organization. You girlies have fun!!!!

Wait a second, I think I see The Very Hungry Caterpillar back there on that shelf. That is one of Olly's most fav books ever (Because he can stick his fingers in the little holes)...

I quoted you on my blog. I hope that is okay. I'm gleaning wisdom from the sisterhood ... it is well established ... I am new ... but I am really nice.
