I just wanted to respond to the comment you left on my post, about how my hair reminded you of the book A Girl Names Zippy.
I just researched it on amazon and found this in the hair chapter:
When my hair finally did come in, when I was three, it did so with a vengeance: thick and sprouty and curly. And not those lovely loopy curls only ungrateful men get; it was more like fourteen thousand cowlicks. In fact, left to its own devices, my head looks like a big hair alarm going off.
The last sentence describes my hair perfectly! And now I'm going to add this book to the list of books I need to read. I only wish I had known about this book before I wrote my 'hair' post! Hilarious.
