Rhett

I present to you Abe's hero:
Rhett.
This summer at Kennedy School, Rhett helps Abe learn to walk by dancing outside in the courtyard.

Abe is so glad to be able to play the piano like Rhett played here back in September.

This evening at dinner, Rhett ate while Abe pretended to.

I love seeing Abe trail Rhett around, pointing and announcing his name, "Ett! Ett!" Rhett tolerates Abe's hugs and occasionally pecks him on the top of his head. We're thankful to be the lucky recipients of Rhett's blossoming big-brother skills...not long now, not long.

Check out the amazing idea that Courtney had this week. I mailed my mine out this afternoon.

I love Rhett - I think he is so adorable and you can just tell how sweet he is. Glad he and Abe are friends! :)

is anything cuter than a tiny child being worshipped by an even tinier child? I can feel the love all the way over here.

If you are going to have a hero, he should definitely be named Rhett. So cute.

They were very sweet last night! I love the look in Abe's eyes when he is looking at Rhett. Rhett loves Abe just as much. I catch him either rubing Abe's hair or kissing his head. It is giving Rhett great practice for when he officially becomes a big brother. We are so blessed to have your family in our lives.

By the way- I was just emailing Autumn and suggested that I come out to visit you all in Portland. We could go to Trader Joe's AND make cute little banners- all in the same day!

Give that toddler of yours a gigantic smoochie smooch from me. I can't WAIT to run my fingers through that brilliant hair of his. Oops. I accidentally wrote "yours." Thank God for quick self-editing. I mean, I could try and braid your hair. But I'm not very good at it. Not that I want to braid Abe's hair.

Yep. Still stupid.

And that's how a little one would view and copy Abe!!!! It's been fun to see Nicholas go from copying other kids to the one being copied and looked up to! :)
