Internet Down

Last night I was really tired after putting Abe to bed and emotionally spent after seeing Shae go home on Biggest Loser (seriously, she makes me cry, and I am genuinely worried about her after last night's show because there was no "look at me now" segment about her, only Daniel...anyone have any info on that sweet Shae lady who had 200+ pounds to go? I just keep hoping there was no segment on her because they're waiting for the big reveal at the finale). I sat down at the computer to throw together a blog post at 11:30 and found that our internet was down.

So that's my excuse for missing yesterday. It wasn't my fault.

Someone on another blog (can't remember who) asked for comments about what she should write about. I'm not exactly running out of ideas, but I am curious if anyone has an opinion about topics I should cover during this month of daily posts (when the internet is working). Um, but asking that feels a little narcissistic, like I'm assuming that anyone gives a flying flip what I have to say because really, like my mom told me on the phone yesterday, her so-and-so friend from work "follows closely the pictures on your blog."

Yep, it's all about pictures of Abe for most people.

On that note, because I give the people what they want, a very short video taken by Staci on Halloween:

And if you feel like leaving a comment with an idea for a topic, please do.

I think he is the cutest little wild thing I've seen! (and I agree that the boy who was in the movie, Max..as Max, was amazing).

But I DO read your blog for your writing as well as those great pics! And I too was worried about Shay (Shae?) going home...I agree, its concerning. (Biggest loser = guilty pleasure).
So I have no great suggestions, you genreally have plenty of interesting things popping up in your head.....just spill!

I've followed your blog for a while, and I guess it's time to come out of the woodwork.

I'm graduating college in May and "the possibilities are endless," but I think I would love love love to move to Portland. Tell me... why do you like Portland? what are your favorite things to do? places to go?

Ever since your post about the elderly man who has "noone in the world", he's been on my mind. Do you have any update about him?

I couldn't believe they sent Shay home! I also noticed that she didn't have a follow-post. I truly don't think she was ready to leave. They should have sent that little blonde nitwit home instead! Lol...in my humble opinion.... :)

I've been meaning to write about multicultural books for kids in our home library. I'd love to hear about yours. :)

I was also very worried about Shay and emotionally spent! So I did some investigating on some trusted news sites - ET, People, etc. :) Here is what I found. It looks like she has lost another 54 lbs so far. http://www.etonline.com/news/2009/11/80882/index.html
not sure why they didn't do a segment. I am still worried about her though.

I'm the narcissist [*hangs head in shame*].

If you were serving dinner for 12 and could invite anyone, who would you invite?

It was Stpehanie! And I took her idea too.

I want to hear about your life outside of mommyhood. How do you remember who you were without losing who you've become?

Cute, cute video!

I don't have any ideas for topics, but I would love someone to throw an idea my way :)

Argh! My computer would not let me comment all afternoon. Shay is doing great and 24 hr fitness is really investing in helping her. She has about 57-8 pounds to go to hit her 213 goal in December. (fingers crossed) and really, REALLY why is Amanda still on,...and Rudy is officially "on my list."
